One of the greatest successes of the Hudson Historical Society has been the publication of numerous hooks on local history by numerous local authors and historians. These books are available through the Society at the address above or at the Hudson Village Book Shop which is located on the Main Road in central Hudson.

The books cover a wide range of topics that include a series of six on local pioneer families, local industries, Ottawa River navigation, the local Police and Fire Department, historical buildings and the early colonization of the region.

Meetings are held at 7:30 pm in the small hall of St. James Anglican Church, 642 Main Road, Hudson. An annual General Meeting is held each January to discuss the financial situation of the Society and to elect new Executive officers. The meetings are held from September to May on the second Tuesday of each month. There is no December meeting however and each summer one or two outings are usually held. These Sunday outings include various museums and points of interest in and around the Hudson and Montreal region.

Annual dues for the Hudson Historical Society are $10.00 for a single membership and $15.00 for a family membership. All donations to the Society are tax deductable as the Society is a Non-Profit Organization.
